FAAN to Shut Down Terminal 1 of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has announced plans to shut down Terminal 1 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos for rehabilitation works.

The temporary shutdown is aimed at carrying out structural repairs and facility upgrades to improve safety and operational efficiency at the terminal. The rehabilitation is expected to address aging infrastructure and enhance the overall experience for airport users.

During the period of closure, airlines operating from Terminal 1 will be relocated to alternative terminals within the airport. Passengers are advised to confirm their terminal information with their airlines or travel agents ahead of their travel dates.
